Haier Europe - Single-Product Traceability on the Oven Assembly Line

We implemented a traceability system on the new oven assembly lines at Haier Europe's cooking appliance factory, a global leader in white goods manufacturing, located in Turkey.

In this project, where we also developed the assembly line automation software, the serial number from the product barcode is associated with RFID at the start of the line, and traceability is ensured through the RFID system. During production, electrical tests, gas leakage tests, and flame control tests are performed automatically, independently of the operator, at designated stations along the line, with test results collected from test stations and matched to the product serial number.

The project uses 9-axis servo systems. All data exchange is facilitated through EtherCAT, TCP/IP, and Profinet communication infrastructure.

Following the successful completion of the project, work began on the second line.
