Mey Diageo - Tracking and Localization Project
As part of the Mey Diageo tracking and localization system renovation project, a robust, user-friendly, and flexible traceability system was successfully implemented.
The project aimed to enable traceability from box to pallet. Using SICK brand barcode readers, the barcodes of boxes produced on the line are scanned and matched with the corresponding pallet barcodes. The system is fully integrated with SAP in both directions and is capable of operating offline in cases where SAP access is limited, such as during network outages, ensuring continuous production.
Currently operating in 6 factories and 12 production lines, the application can be monitored from the central headquarters in Istanbul, where production-related reports are also generated centrally.
