Maxion Inci Steel - RFID Mold Tracking
In this project, SICK RFID equipment was used and integrated with a Siemens S7-1500 PLC. Mold and recipe matching was enabled to prevent incorrect mold usage.
During recipe changes, mold IDs were read via RFID, and the system verified correct matching. If a correct match was detected, the machine was granted permission to operate.
Mold lifetime can be tracked through the RFID-based system.
