Bosch - Trolley Tracking with RFID Gate
In the application developed for the Bosch thermotechnology factory, RFID read/write heads positioned at the warehouse exit ensured that kit trolleys, prepared according to the work order, were released for production.
To physically enable this control, a barrier system was installed at the warehouse entrance and exit. The application, which facilitated bidirectional communication with the warehouse management system, scanned the RFID tags on incoming kit trolleys and queried the warehouse system, allowing only approved trolleys to exit.
The project utilized 700 Confidex Metal RFID tags for the RFID read/write heads.
